It supports the proprietary “Warp Charge 30T” fast-charging standard (30 W wired charging) when used with the appropriate charger and cable.

The charging port is often soldered to a flex cable assembly inside the phone (for example: “charging port flex cable” part for OnePlus 7T is available) which means repairing/ replacing it requires internal disassembly. 

Because the phone uses USB-C, you can use standard USB-C cables for generic charging/data—but to get full fast-charge speed you should use the original OnePlus charger and cable (or a certified equivalent)
